• The conference was of great success! [Learning] entrepreneurship skills and more about business were so important to us. We thank you for all [of] that.

  • TRG International is doing an excellent job of providing needed leadership and entrepreneurial skills to Black South African learners in underprivileged communities.

  • For the past eight years, the teachers and administrators have thanked TRG for its many provisions.  Knowing that volunteers from the US care about our learners and visit annually motivates them  to maintain a high level of achievement throughout the year. And while our library recently received a bursary for further development, we will always credit TRG for creating our library and supplying it with its initial offering of 900 books.

  • The TRG experience is transformative.  While the average person is aware of the extreme poverty that plagues South African settlements, you rarely see the triumphant and determined spirit of its youth.  They have overcome immeasurable odds.  There is no place for pity.  You have to bring your best intellectual, creative, and optimistic self because THEY always do.

  • TRG facilitates a relationship between volunteers and students.  As much as the students gain from the experience–in tangible skills that lead to the long-term successes we celebrate–I think the volunteers get more from the experience than we can ever measure….emotionally, maybe more than the students.

  • I met the TRG Family very briefly in 2013 before they were about to leave Durban going back to America. When they came back in 2014, I served as their primary driver and learned more about The Renaissance Group (TRG). I was touched with a wonderful work the TRG Family do in my country by giving back hope to the children coming from the disadvantage backgrounds. Since then I’ve been supporting TRG and in 2016 I gave an inspirational talk at the Kheswa Leadership Conference.  I highly salute and respect the TRG Family and look forward to continuing the journey with you.  Keep up the good work!
